November wins

Can't really be bothered with all the advent comps today, so many of them, I'll play scrabble instead.  ISC.ro if anyone wants a game, I'm JudeVFR400 there.

On to the wins!

A box of useful stuff from P&G / Supersavvyme.  It's almost like a little hamper.
Tampons (hilarious to us, we've both had hysterectomies),  ariel washing tabs, max factor mascara, oral b toothpaste, venus and olay razor and head and shoulders apple fresh.

A set of Sophie Hannah's mysteries, 8 of them, all signed  Lovely!  My pile of books to be read is getting out of control.

A warming knee support from @neoguk - nice to have a little twitter win.  They run this every week, and you can choose any item from their catalogue.

A foot pump from win something 'clickies'.

Another copy of After Earth. That's one dvd, one bluray, and one bluray steel book.

Fleur D'Or Hand Cream by L'Occitane - my only prize from the Stella giveaway.

A book win - Talking To The Dead - Harry Bingham

I won this from booksbiscuitsandtea, thank you Vicky, and realised when I picked it up, that I have already read it.  Not a problem, my memory isn't great, so I don't remember who did it, but I did remember that I had a big problem with the detective.  She's lovely.  Very enjoyable character, intelligent, quirky, and I would be very happy with her as an insurance investigator say.  But.  I just cannot believe that someone who had suffered a serious mental illness, documented in her medical records, would ever get in the police.  I just can't get past this.  Still, I will ignore that, and enjoy reading the story again.

Reading an actual book, I realise how much I now prefer the kindle.  I never thought I would when they first came out, but now, with my eyes being stupid so often, I do like being able to make the text as large as is comfortable.  It's less of an effort than using my reading glasses and a paper book.  Oh well.  Thank science for kindles!

September wins

£10 Top Shop voucher
Time Bandits bluray steelbook - Hey You Guys rafflecopter, heyuguys competitions
LA Confidential bluray - Empire
£50 Amazon voucher, National Express - bought Ian Rankin - The Impossible Dead  on kindle last night, and Lisa's having fun with latex.  Making a halloween mask, nothing naughty!
£50 Tesco voucher, Robinson Fruitshoot
Luxe Edition Crystal Slant Tweezers from tweezerman - crazy price!  These arrived today, and, okay, they are pretty, but I don't really see the point.  I mean, who would see them?  Not like you pluck stray whiskers in public.  Well, I don't anyway. Here -  sparkly tweezers - like these, but mine are purple.  I would happily sell them, half retail price, but I really don't know any sparkly princesses that would feel the need.  Let me know if you do...  Otherwise I will keep them, and use them, and wonder...
Vileda mop - Not so sparkly, but useful.
Voucher for Zoflora

Lots of lovely wins again last month, even with taking loads of naps.  I don't do well in the heat.
